6.What are the advantages of personal information management software over paper notebook organizers? What are the disadvantages?

You can easily organize information in a PIM and retrieve it more conveniently. PIMs can allow users to use multiple amount of functions more conveniently than a paper notebook organizer.  However, it does have its disadvantages, PIM users can face the risks of security if there computer were to be hacked and/or their information was retrieved by another user without consent.


7.What does it mean to sort a data file? 
Sorting a data file is organizing the data into a certain matter (alphabetical , numerical, etc.) based on your fields.

10. Do we have a legal right to privacy? On what grounds?
Yes we do, we have the right to obtain the privacy of our lives, and creating limits of what we can reveal about ourselves. However, we need to make sure of privacy settings we set for ourselves or the information we input can be used against us.

11.Why are computers important in discussions of invasion of privacy?

Computers can be used to access information so much easier and manipulate it. Identity thieves  (or other predators) can retrieve information from another more efficiently than without use of computers; they can also take in information without leaving traces, making it difficult to identify the culprit.
