Computers in the work place can replace jobs originally created for humans, leaving people unemployed and without an income to pay for necessities. Computer jobs can make jobs simpler, allowing a managing staff to lower wages as job would not require as much physical or intellectual processing.
3. List 3 jobs/skills that have become obsolete in the 21st century and 3 jobs/skills that have taken their place.
- Video rental store employees and owners have been replaced by online video rentals and RedBox movie rentals
-Many secretarial jobs and operators are replaced by automated computers or people from other countries who are connected to the number line through fiber optic cables
-Lamplighters are completely unnecessary as street lights light themselves automatically
